Some of you may have noticed the same thing that I have. One of the biggest problems most people have in psionics is a lack of focus and concentration. For this article I will be discussing some exercises which have proven to be very helpful in fixing this problem. Exercise One: "Slide-Show"
- I call this exercise slide-show because it is basically a series of images.
- Step One: Make a list of objects that you can easily visualize. IE: apple, car, ball, and bike
- Step Two: Memorize the list, and be sure you can visualize the objects on it.
- Step Three: Find a nice peaceful place where you wont be disturbed for at LEAST 15-20 minutes.
- Step Four: Start at the top of your list. With your eyes closed, visualize the image as clear as you can and hold it for as long as you can.
- Step Five: As soon as you loose focus on the image continue on to the next image on the list. Continue until you have exhausted the list. You are done for this session.
This exercise is exactly like the one before it EXCEPT that you, and this should be obvious, use colors instead of images. Other than that, it operates on the exact same principles. Move from one to the next until you have exhausted them all.
Music
I shall now discuss the topic of music and why it helps us focus.
Well, let me tell you; but first, I want to make it clear that music does not help everyone, some people find it to be an annoyance. Now, music helps us focus mainly because we can identify our own thoughts to the beats and rhythms which the music provides us. This is much like the identifying between beat and thoughts in telepathic pulse-sending.
Now it is time for my personal recommendations. I recommend doing the two exercises on a rotating daily schedule. This means that one day you do Exercise one, and the next you do exercise two. After a week, try to do them with music; use different forms of music. If you see that your results have slipped, or have not changed stop using the music. However if your results have gotten better, more power to you, turn the volume up and get lost in focus....
Thanks to EverSoSleepy and SawyerHickory for their help.
